Are Collection Calls a

BIG PROBLEM?

Here's a

POWERFUL
SOLUTION!

DAAN...technology to the rescue

Bad things happen to good people. We've all been there. No one enjoys having insult added to injury. When a consumer is seriously in debt, collectors will be calling and those calls are embarrassing to say the least, dehumanizing at worst.

Congress has found that: "Abusive debt collection practices contribute to the number of personal bankruptcies, to marital instability, to the loss of jobs, and to invasions of individual privacy." 15 USC 1692(a).

In fact, getting rid of harassing collection calls is what drives many consumers to file bankruptcy. The bankruptcy laws have changed, so now what is a consumer to do?

Most consumers now look to debt relief agencies to help them get rid of debt. TV and radio are full of debt relief ads offering to "stop harassing calls". But a closer online look at their FAQs reveals it could take up to 3 months or more after joining most debt relief programs for the calls to end. In the meantime, the phone rings and rings, creating mounting tension in the family and embarrassing situations when friends and neighbors are present.

WANT PROOF?

From Debt Counseling Corp's FAQs

Q. Once I enroll in the Debt Management Program, will creditors still call me looking for payment?

A. Within three months of making three consecutive, on-time payments on our Program, most accounts will “re-age”
and will be brought current.

From Care One Credit Counseling's FAQs:

"Q. Will a debt management program stop collection calls?

A. Collection calls usually stop after the third consecutive payment on the debt management program. If you continue to
receive collection calls after your creditor has posted three consecutive payments, please contact us by e-mail with the
name of the creditor and the last four digits of the account number to allow us an opportunity to investigate. Please keep
in mind, your creditors are often large, complex organizations; sometimes the department that is calling you has not been
notified about your enrollment status."

Here's another: From In Charge Debt Solutions FAQs:

"Q. How do I deal with collection calls?

A. As promised, the collection calls will eventually stop. However, in some cases it takes approximately three consecutive
payments from InCharge, on your behalf, before the calls stop completely."

One final example: From Christian Debt Consolidation FAQs:

Q. Will I still receive harassing phone calls?

A. It might be possible in the first several months, since it takes time for your creditor's collections department to find out
you're on DMP program with our agency.

There are many more, but we've made our point...or rather, they made it for us.

Why can it take months for the calls to end if I'm paying into a debt reduction program?
Credit counselors
need time to negotiate, to get you into the system and to have that filter down to the collectors. Until an agreement is reached, all the collectors know is that your accounts are past due. And, agencies don't have the technology to immediately end the calls. In the meantime, calls continue.

How to END collection calls 24/7
Invented by an attorney who has seen the effects of harassing collection calls, the Debtor-Activated-Account-Notification unit ("DAAN") is a compact, patented, home transmitter Module that will automatically redirect all of your collection calls 24/7 to your debt relief counselor without you needing to say a word. DAAN also advises collectors not to call you again under possible penalty of law and more. With DAAN at your fingertips, the peace of mind is immense, immediate, and 24/7. But if you’ve never dealt with a collector, you still may be wondering why you need DAAN. Please consider the following:

What you should know if you are one of the millions of Americans in debt

Collectors:
-are professionals whose goal is to keep you on the phone as long as necessary to get money now,
-will usually, in a condescending or derogatory tone, make you feel less than human if you can’t pay now,
-may illegally harass you, your wife and your children using horrific tactics to collect now,
-may call employers, neighbors, friends and relatives to locate you if you do not answer the phone,
-typically increase the frequency of calls until they get the money, and
-will be more willing to arrive at a debt relief plan with your counselor if they know further calls to you may be considered harassment and that DAAN could assist in proving it, resulting in collectors paying you damages.

Something else you'll be shocked to know!
When we were interviewing numerous debt relief agencies to offer DAAN, one told us (privately) they didn’t want to offer DAAN because they WANTED the calls to continue to their clients! Why? To make sure the clients would stay in their program, afraid to leave and have the calls increase! Yet their TV ads would lead you to believe they jumped right on the phone to your creditors. Good agencies are out there and we teamed up with the best of the best, but you may be wondering...

Why would collectors obey DAAN if I can tell them myself?
Several reasons.
1. Do you really want to explain your situation every time the phone rings?

"After all of these months of calls, your product (DAAN) got rid them and kept them from calling
back with the touch of my finger."
P.C., Ohio

2. Do you want to argue with collectors in front of family or friends? Do you want the collector calling YOU back when they
should be negotiating with your counselor?

"Most of [my DAAN clients] reported a dramatic drop in phone calls in the first week...
And they have been very satisfied with that."
Eric Sparks, Attorney, Phoenix, AZ

3. Do you want your spouse to deal with harassing calls all day while you are at work?

"That tiny box that connected to our phone stopped EVERYTHING. Within seven days
we even felt comfortable enough to actually not screen our calls. It really saved the mental
and physical health of my husband, and gave us a piece of mind that we hadn't had in quite
some time. But best of all it saved our relationship."
D.P., Ohio

4. Collectors are after money, not a lengthy conversation with you unless that is what it takes to get the money. So if they can't speak with you, they will move on to whomever is next in line with disbursing the funds.

DAAN discreetly refers collectors to our call center to locate your counselor. We capture and retain that information, which could be the basis of a monetary award to you should the collector attempt to harass you in the future. Federal law allows you to recover $1,000 per violation, plus damages (money for pain and suffering, etc., caused by the collector) and even attorney's fees from collectors who harass you.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for a collector to argue with , harass or embarrass DAAN. No matter when they call; no matter who may be in the same room, you never have to say a word with DAAN. Just press star and hang up.

Once collectors know you have DAAN, they are more prone to work out an agreement with your counselor, rather than risk legal action by harassing you. Again, collectors are after money, not law suits. Plus, DAAN adds a "twist" collectors NEVER expect that makes them think more than twice before EVER considering calling you again, and that is the message from a DAAN attorney. Best of all, most DAAN-equipped debt resolution companies provide DAAN free to their clients (you).
